SUCCESS STORY

My story is probably similar to a lot of other stories, I was active growing up, played high school and college sports, and then stayed fairly active until I hit about 40.

It was just harder to stay in shape, and then the pandemic hit. I think we can all relate that it was easy to become less active. I had a lot of equipment at home, and a gym membership, and I also wasn’t using the equipment, or going to the gym.

Something needed to change, and I came across an ad for Alloy. After talking to Angela, I decided to sign up. Not going to lie, the first month my body kept yelling at me, and I had no idea what I was doing. I was way more out of shape than I realized!

The thing I have found in Alloy is a sense of community and connection. Yes, we workout and push ourselves and each other, and we also support each other. Suddenly, what I couldn’t get myself to do at 5:30 in the morning – simply walk downstairs and workout – I was able to drive to Alloy and do consistently.

“Working out at Alloy has become weirdly addictive”

Along the way I noticed I had more energy, I just moved better. I slept better, I was able to do everyday activities better, and I just felt better. Working out at Alloy has become weirdly addictive, in that I don’t want to miss a single session – even on weeks that I am out of town, I try to fit workouts in before and after.

For me, the Alloy experience isn’t just the workouts and how you feel, it is the people. The trainers, the fellow members – it all makes moving and working out fun again. Thanks!
